Bausch + Lomb is a leading global eye health organization that is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the gift of sight for millions of people around the world. The location Schiphol-Rijk is responsible for storage, sorting, and distribution of medical devices and contact lenses for the EMEA region. As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for all inventory related processes. In this position, you play an important role for internal stakeholders such as the Inventory Control Team in the warehouse, as well as for Supply Chain and Commercial. In addition, you play an important role as the go to person for internal and external audits. One of your key responsibilities is taking care of various financial reports which you use to support and advise the business. You will be dealing with large data sets and know how to translate them into valuable information.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the timely monthly reporting of complete and accurate Inventory accounting of the Amsterdam Logistic Centre;
  • Besides this you ensure accurate inventory related reporting and reconciliations;
  • In addition, you will provide accurate obsolescence calculations and policy-based reporting;
  • Next to this you are the finance lead for inventory cycle count;
  • Also you comply with SOX, Statutory and other local reporting or filing requirements;
  • You will be in touch with internal inventory control and supplies team, as well as internal and external auditors;
  • Moreover you will be having close contact with the shared service center;
  • Lastly you are busy implementing global financial processes and drive standardization of inventory accounting process.

Who are you?

  • You have a relevant Finance/Accounting degree (HBO+/SPD/HEAO/Bsc);
  • You can work within a US multinational company;
  • Experience with USGAAP is preferred
  • Also you have the ability to work with large data sets;
  • You are able to understand accounting transactions;
  • You enjoy root cause analysis, problem determination and solving;
  • Experience with PowerBI is preferred;
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is preferred);
  • You have the ability to work positively and collaboratively within a team to achieve a common objective.
